Art & Design
The Division of Art + Design at Indiana Wesleyan University is a community of Christian artists, designers, and scholars who have joyfully embraced the call of God upon our lives. As a student in the Division of Art + Design, you will learn your craft in some of the best-equipped art and design facilities to be found among small liberal arts colleges and universities.
Behavioral Sciences
We offer undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Social Work, a Pre-Art Therapy track, and graduate study through our Master of Social Work (MSW) program. Students engage in applied learning through research collaborations, service-learning opportunities, community-based practicums, and other hands-on experiences that complement classroom study.
Business
Choose from a variety of business-focused programs that promote skills in leadership, management, and strategic thinking. Gain real-world preparation and Christ-centered insight to navigate complex business environments with confidence.
Health & Human Performance
If you have a passion for helping people heal from injury or achieve new heights in their athletic ability, Health and Human Performance might be your path. You can benefit from course topics focused on exercise, nutrition, and spiritual health. Upon completion, you can move into a graduate-level program in a specialized area.
Math, Engineering, and Computer Science
Our curricula are frequently updated and benchmarked with recommendations from alumni, professional organizations, and current students. Classes in our division are small, and you will graduate with many close friends, both students and faculty members. The courses in the engineering program are designed to help students gain a comprehensive foundation in engineering along with leadership skills for high-level roles.
Modern Language, Literature, and Communication

Music & Theatre

Natural Sciences

Nursing
IWU offers a great history of success in Nursing, boasting an NCLEX pass rate that is annually one of the highest in the state of Indiana and nationally. Committed faculty, excellent facilities and carefully designed curriculum are added to students who are passionate about serving others.
Occupational Therapy
Nurturing students not only in academic excellence but also in leadership, scholarship, and character grounded in Christian principles. Our OTD degree is designed to equip future occupational therapists with the skills and knowledge to provide compassionate and transformative healthcare services around the globe.
Pre-Health Sciences (Pre-Med)
Pre-Health Sciences programs prepare students to pursue careers in medicine, dentistry, physical therapy, and other health professions. Coursework and practical experiences cultivate critical thinking and clinical readiness for competitive graduate programs.
Social Sciences

Undecided
Before diving into a specific major, many students begin their journey at IWU through the Exploratory Program—a supportive pathway for discovering purpose and direction. Designed for students with an undecided major and those exploring multiple interests, this experience helps students build clarity, confidence, and faith‑driven focus as they prepare for the next steps in their academic and professional lives.
John Wesley Honors College
Our classes explore big questions: What Is Truth? What is the Good Life? What is Beauty? These questions are “big” because how we think about truth, goodness, and beauty affects how we understand the world and our role within it.
SPIRITUAL LIFE
At the core of the IWU experience is the opportunity you will have to grow spiritually and engage in a Christian community. Indiana Wesleyan offers engaging worship in Chapel, meaningful connection in small groups, and supportive faculty who will take the time to talk to you and pray with you.
ATHLETICS & EVENTS
A variety of athletics programs offer students the opportunity to compete in more than 20 varsity sports, including basketball, soccer, football, tennis, swimming, and more at the NAIA level. IWU athletics provides opportunities to develop teamwork, leadership, and school spirit throughout the year.

IWU invests over $25,000,000 in institutional aid based upon merit, need, and other factors, with many students receiving multiple awards, to make education as affordable as possible. Students can also use federal and state aid from Indiana.
